The Intelligent Compressed Air Solution

The ASK screw compressor series from KAESER now comprises three standard models, the ASK 27, ASK 32 and ASK 35. Each one represents the very latest advances in performance and design. Offering all the advantages of modern rotary screw compressor technology, every unit uses a flow optimised “Sigma Profile” airend and a CEMEP EFF1 motor to guarantee excellent specific power with high energy efficiency.
ASK units are a new generation of V-belt driven compressors featuring an automatic tensioning device which ensures constant, efficient power transmission and significantly reduces maintenance.
With a footprint of less than 1 m², ASK rotary screw compressors require minimal floor space, are perfect for fulfilling decentralised compressed air supply requirements and are the ideal choice for smaller brewery, beverage and food industry applications. Producing a free-air delivery of 2.6 m³/min, 3.15 m³/min or 3.5 m³/min at 8 bar, all standard versions have low noise levels of only 66, 68 or 70 dB (A). All ASK units are available in higher pressure versions for 11 or 15 bar respectively.
Highly effective sound insulation and low airend speeds contribute to making these units ‘quieter than quiet’, which means that the ASK can be installed in close proximity to the work area. The highly effective cooling system with a specifically designed cooling-air vent enables compressed air discharge temperatures of only 6-7K above ambient temperature, consequently reducing power consumption of the downstream treatment equipment. Each ASK model is service-friendly, as all filters are easily accessible and simple to change from the front of the unit. An observation window in the compressor cabinet makes fluid level inspection possible even when the unit is in operation.
The internal PC-based “Sigma Control” is responsible for managing system operation, whilst offering increased reliability, reduced maintenance and additional energy savings. The unit also allows effortless connection to existing management systems and the KAESER ‘Teleservice’ facility.
Together with various package options, including the “Sigma Control Basic” and an integrated refrigeration dryer*, the modular design concept enables the appropriate ASK rotary screw compressor to be individually tailored to suit user requirements.
